Description
The Dufour 45 E Performance from Dufour Yachts s.a. is a sailing boat from the Performance series, built from 2007 to 2020. The Dufour 45 E Performance has a length of 13.95 m and a width of 4.30 m with a draught of 1.95 m for the flat keel to 2.30 m for the standard Performance keel. She can accommodate up to 10 people and, depending on the layout, has three to four cabins and two heads compartments. With a maximum cruising speed of 8.46 knots, the upwind sail area of 113 m² supports the speed potential, divided between mainsail 54 m² and genoa 59 m². Gennakers or spinnakers with 140 to 160 m² are available for downwind courses. It is usually powered by a Volvo Penta D2-55 or D2-75 with saildrive. Compared to the Dufour 40 Performance, the Dufour 45 E Performance offers larger sail areas and more space.
