Description
The Elan Express is a classic sports boat originally designed by the Swedish designer Peter Norlin, better known as the Albin Express. Elan built the boat under licence under the name "Elan Express", which was of great importance for the supply of spare parts and the standard class. The yacht is 7.77 metres long and is characterised by its cast iron fin keel, which ensures a stable position in the water. The design offers space for a small crew and is specially designed for regattas and sporty sailing. Propulsion is classically provided by an outboard at the stern, which reduces the weight in the hull and simplifies handling. The Elan Express is a legend in the Elan model range, and its simple but effective design has made it a popular choice for sporty sailors.
