Description
The BENETEAU FIRST 33.7 is a sporty cruising yacht with clear regatta DNA. At around 9.98 metres in length, she lies between the FIRST 31.7 and the FIRST 36.7 and offers an ideal balance of performance, comfort and control. The hull developed by Jean-Marie Finot is optimised for speed and stability and impresses with its excellent upwind performance and precise handling. Thanks to the powerful rig and deep keel, the 33.7 sails directly, quickly and safely - even in demanding conditions. Below deck, she combines functionality with pleasant living comfort: two cabins, a fully equipped galley and a bright saloon make her suitable for longer cruises.

A very seaworthy boat for active crews The First 33.7 is an excellent, very seaworthy boat. Its sail plan is well-proportioned, allowing it to reach a speed of 7 knots upwind in flat seas and 10-knot winds. Its 1600 kg keel makes it stiff under sail and allows for shorthanded sailing. The SPARCRAFT rigging is of very good quality, as is the Leuwmar deck hardware. With a beam of 3.4 m, the boat is sufficiently spacious. The chart table is large and comfortable enough for navigation. On the downside, I would point out the mainsheet traveler, which divides the cockpit space in two. The displays are often obscured by people in the cockpit, unlike on the First 36.7 where they are located at the top of the companionway. The wooden fittings are of very good quality. This boat is aimed at crews who want sensations similar to a dinghy, with the comfort of a cruising sailboat.
