Description
The Hallberg-Rassy 48 is a 14.99 metre long centre cockpit yacht with an internal passageway to the aft cabin. The hull was designed by Germán Frers and combines a fin keel with a free-standing spade rudder, which supports precise steering and balanced sailing characteristics. The Hallberg-Rassy 48 is steered via a central steering wheel in the protected cockpit. Features include the extension, storage space in deep forecastle boxes and a seaworthy layout below deck with a separate shower and separate living areas. Large windows in the superstructure bring daylight into the saloon. Compared to the smaller Hallberg-Rassy 46, the Hallberg-Rassy 48 offers more width, more volume in the stern and more space in the owner's cabin, but remains true to the centre cockpit concept. The Hallberg-Rassy 48 is suitable for sailors looking for an ocean-going cruising yacht with autonomy and comfort for long voyages.
