Description
The Hanse 388 is a sailing yacht from HanseYachts AG with a length of 11.40 metres and is technically based on the hull of the Hanse 385. Features include the self-tacking jib, twin wheel steering and the 9/10 rig, which facilitates manoeuvres over short distances and clear line management. Compared to the Hanse 385, the main changes are in the deck structure with additional glazing and modifications to the rig and interior. The cockpit is wide, allows free passage to the stern and separates work areas from seating areas. Below deck there is a saloon, an L-shaped galley and, depending on the layout, two or three cabins and storage space for provisions and equipment. Two draught variants are available: the standard keel with 1.99 metres or the flat keel with 1.62 metres. Compared to the Hanse 385, the basic concept remains the same, but the Hanse 388 focusses more on light and revised details. The Hanse 388 is thus designed for easy handling, spaciousness and variable utilisation.
