Description
The Hanse 505 is a 15.40 metre long and 4.75 metre wide sailing yacht from HanseYachts AG. The construction is made of GRP sandwich with a vinylester barrier as osmosis protection. The deck layout is designed for easy handling and utilises twin steering wheels, aft-guided halyards and an integrated self-tacking jib. The cockpit is clearly structured and offers room to manoeuvre. Several layout variants with three to five cabins and two or three heads are possible below deck. As an option, a utility room can be designed as a workshop or washroom instead of a cabin. Compared to the Hanse 495, the Hanse 505 replaces the previous model and offers a tidier cockpit layout with a similar hull base.
