Description
The Hanse 575 is a 17.50 metre long and 5.20 metre wide sailing yacht from HanseYachts AG based on a design by Judel/Vrolijk. The hull length is around 17.15 metres. The construction consists of a GRP sandwich with a vinylester barrier. Typical features are the double steering wheels, the fractional rig and a deck layout with short distances, in which halyards and reefs are led right into the steering area. Other features include the wide cockpit, large window areas in the superstructure and a generous stern platform. A special detail is the longitudinal dinghy garage, designed for a dinghy such as a Williams jet tender. Several layouts with separate cabins and heads compartments are possible below deck. Compared to the Hanse 588, the Hanse 575 is the predecessor model with the same basic hull, but with fewer revised window and deck details.
