Description
The Malö 41 is a 13.04 metre ocean-going sailing yacht with a centre cockpit, fixed windscreen and Targa bow. It is considered a further development of the Malö 39 and marks the transition to a more modern hull shape. Despite its often described appearance, it is not a true deckhouse yacht, but a classic centre cockpit design with a heavily protected cockpit. The GRP hull is designed as a moderate short keel. This improves manoeuvrability in the harbour and at the same time supports the sailing characteristics upwind. Below deck, the boat offers a spacious aft cabin, the width of which allows for an almost square bed at the stern. The layout is complemented by a saloon, a galley and a forward cabin. Compared to the Malö 39, the Malö 41 offers more interior space and a more modern underwater hull with a similar basic concept. The Malö 41 is aimed at sailors looking for a cruising yacht with a comfortable interior for longer ocean voyages.
