24 feet cruiser with compromise The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey is one of the last sub-30ft family cruisers by Jeanneau. With 24 feet LOA, and 8.16 feet Beam it fits into narrow berths. Unlike similar 24 feet cruisers, it does include a toilette, a stove, and a fridge (depends on model variant). The boat can accommodate up to 4 persons. The boat is relatively shallow, even the bulb keel variant's draft is only 1.1 m, which ideal for inland waters. This comes at a price, this is not a racing cruiser. The sail plan is more optimized for medium winds, and due to the rigging, it is hard to deploy a genua. The outboard rudder's placement makes harbor maneuvering somewhat inconvenient.
