Product details

Flag poles, made of lacquered pine with mahogany head. Side-mounted cleat (with eye). They are conically tapered at the bottom. The unit's diameter refers to the lower end of the pole. Available in different sizes (come supplied without flags).

Note:
Models up to a length of 500 mm include a screw eye for attaching the flag's line, whereas models with longer lengths include a 60 mm long cleat for this purpose.

Superb finish.

Obviously, the varnish will need to be maintained with two additional coats every two years.
The lower end of the flagpole is one inch in diameter.
If the stainless steel tube into which the pole is meant to fit is also one inch in diameter, the pole won't fit.
Therefore, the diameter of the pole will need to be reduced to 23 mm at the insertion point.
Consequently, the varnish will be absent at the insertion point.
Rain will cause the wood inside the tube to swell, making it impossible to remove the pole from the tube!
It is therefore advisable to varnish the insertion point, but I will paint it with epoxy paint, which is more resistant to friction and more waterproof.
