The O - ring will easily slip out of position when the filter is turned off. The skill filter from Vetus or Volvo better!

Poor solution of the seal, the rubber ring is not fixed and slipped by the rotation of the lid. It takes several attempts until the ring is properly seated and the lid is properly closed.

To rinse the cooling circuit of my engine I have a valve which allows me to send fresh water by opening the valve, the lid has jumped in the air, water everywhere !!!
I fired this thing immediately.

1. The groove for the O-ring is not deep enough 2. The diameter of the O-ring is too small. Due to 1 2, the O-ring CANNOT be inserted into the groove 3. The O-ring should seal against the cover . However, the lid has 4 sharp edges which will press into the O-ring and damage it. The O-ring seal design is really amazing. Now I have paid for the filter, replacement O-ring, replacement cover, for everything shipping and customs to Thailand, have packed the tool from the ksite and want to install the part and now I notice this faulty construction ...

Thin plastic. Lid sticks easily, thread must be kept very clean if necessary with silicone spray. Filter screen very coarse!. So far no practical testing.

The filters should always be mounted 15cm above the waterline. An application below the waterline is not planned. Die Filter sollen immer 15cm oberhalb der Wasserlinie montiert werden. Ein Einsatz unterhalb der Wasserline ist nicht vorgeshen
