Product details
Hempel's BRILLIANT GLOSS is a modified alkyd 1-component topcoat which offers improved gloss and opacity, as well as prolonged colour retention. It is flexible and resistant to salt water and pollutants, and easy to apply providing an exceptionally glossy finish. For use on wood, steel and glassfibre. For interior and exterior use above the waterline. Touch dry in about 4 hours (20°C). Coat interval: min. 8 hours / max. 3 days (20°C). Thinner 811/ Thinner 808. Yield: about 11 m²/l. Available in various colours.
Processing instructions:
For coated surfaces: Sand the surface, clean and allow to dry. Then apply a primer.
For uncoated surfaces:
- GRP: Sand down and remove dust.
- Wood: Sand and remove dust. Then apply wood treatment and allow to dry.
- Steel: Rinse with water and remove rust.
Drying time at 20° C: 4 hours
Processing time at 20 °C: min. 24 hours
Processing temperature: +5° C to max. 35° C
