Super simple solution
This masthead indicator is perfect for our small boat. The top masthead indicator fell off during the season, so we switched to this alternative. We're so pleased with it that we won't be using a top masthead indicator anymore.
We have it on the backstay, no superstructure or anything like that, so the accuracy is perfectly sufficient for us.
