Highly effective, tin-free antifouling with copper compounds and organic, bioactive agents. Suitable for use in inland waters, North and Baltic Sea as well as the Mediterranean (exception: HARD RACING TecCel® white 10000).
HARD RACING with TecCel® results in a particularly smooth surface after painting, preventing any new fouling. The magic formula behind this is TecCel®. TecCel® is a PTFE-based ingredient that makes surfaces very smooth. As a result, Hard Racing is an excellent antifouling paint for use on fast motor boats and trailer boats. Of course, this product is also appropriate for any other type of boat that requires dependable protection in fouling conditions. The paint can be applied up to 6 months before launching your boat into the water. Antifouling for boats made out of GRP, steel and wood. Not suitable for aluminium boats. Yield: 13.5 m² / 1000 ml.
Thinner 808. Available in various colours.

Application
For uncoated surfaces: Remove salts, detergents, dirt and marine growth using a high-pressure cleaner. Prime the prepared surface with
LIGHT PRIMER and then, while the primer is still tacky, coat with
UNDERWATER PRIMER to act as an adhesion facilitator.
For coated surfaces: Remove fouling and impurities using a high-pressure cleaner. In case of unknown antifouling, wet sand the substrate and remove dust. If the previous antifouling layer is in poor condition, seal the area to be treated with
UNDERWATER PRIMER. If the condition of the previous coating is bad all round, it is recommended to remove it and then start a new layering process (see above).
Using on GRP, wood and steel/lead: Every 12 months, apply two coats of Hempel Hard Racing to the surface to be treated. At the waterline and on heavily used areas of the underwater hull, apply a further coat.
Do not apply to aluminium or other light alloys.
