Absolutely recommendable!!! It's just crazy what modern LED technology makes possible today! The power consumption of this set is actually hardly worth mentioning. The Posi's consume about 110mA, the tail lamp beats with 47mA total to book !!! The luminosity is more than sufficient! Who thinks about it is best advised with this sentence !!! My recommendation

Cheap plastic toy quality
The device is made cheaply, with ill fitting parts with gaps between them. The gasket it comes with is made of plastic, not rubber. The device has some play to it it can be twisted such that the tricolor lights are slightly out of alignment with the forward direction marker.
