A great product. After nearly annoying myself with loose garbage bags for almost a season, I accidentally came upon this garbage bag holder. It fits even in our small boat (8.5m) exactly in a door under the sink. Mounting is extremely easy, both tape and screws are included. The use and especially the bag change required me the first time of some consideration and re-reading the short guide. Once you get the hang of it, it's blind and split second. We use normal 25l trash bags with handle from the discounter.

Product details

This white SNAPSTER rubbish bag holder is ideally suited for use on board. Thanks to its practical snap function, the bin bag is always securely closed - simply lift it up by hand, throw the rubbish in and let go - the bin bag holder closes automatically, stopping unpleasant smells from leaking out. Fits standard bin bags with a maximum fill volume of 50 l. Dimensions: 28.5 x 8 cm.

garbage bag holder
The rubber bands attached to hold the bags in place broke the first time they were used. Basically an interesting product for small boats but unfortunately poorly implemented and therefore overpriced at at least 500%.

Not the same product as in pictures
The delivered product was of newer Snapster model than what was in the picture (the third picture showed the new model, but I didn't notice that before purchase, as two pictures were clearly same as what I had previously). The new model is wider, and not fitting my purpose. It is also not holding the bag as well as the old model.

To make it worse, SVB answered to the reclamation as if I was whining for nothing, and denied that they had made any mistake. That is not how I would expect a customer to be treated.

The two photos showing the product do not matct to the delivered product. The Product is also wider than the one in picture. This will not fit into the place.

The rubberband create the tension to make the bin ‘self close’ . The rubber band sits in the dedicated holders on the backside of bin bag holder. the bin bag is just wrapped around the top like a normal bin bag. Hope it helps
