Product details

The unit consists of a deck floodlight and masthead light combined in one robust housing and is approved for ships up to 20 metres. It has a range of 3 nautical miles (motorboats). Features Hella 'Free Form' reflector technology. This technology results in significantly lower stray/flare light and an optimum beam pattern.

The plastic side flaps allow easy mounting on any mast profile. All metal parts stainless steel. The housing is anti-magnetic and seawater-proof. It has a snap-lock cover for easy bulb replacement.

Bulbs (12 V/55 W & 12 V/25 W BAY15d) included.

Economical version of the light, must be fitted with saltpeters.

The light is good, although it does not give the impression of living, but the same light lasted me 15 years on the boat. It rivets quite well, but the led needs to be fitted with lights. And replace the halogen which has a consumption of 50w with an LED light from Philips H3. Then you have a durable modern light at a reasonable price.

Mounted the unit on the mast, which went smoothly. The side straps are correspondingly flexible and could be easily adjusted to my mast. However, the cable bushings are only suitable for 0.75 mm² cables. Although these are sufficient for the current strength with a cable length of 6 m here, I would have liked to have used stronger cables. How long the clamp will keep the vape light sealed will come up.
The use of the deck heater is screwed, which promises better tightness.
The 55 W bulb of the deck spotlight is sufficient to illuminate the forecastle adequately from a height of around 6 m.
