Have the wing mounted on a 60hp Suzuki combined with a 4.50m aluminum boat (weight about 350kg). The maximum speed red. around 1kmh. Is not dramatic. Maneuverability improves noticeably at high speeds and the bow does not go up that much when driving slowly. It slides better. Overall, unfortunately, the gasoline consumption increases slightly. So the purpose is fulfilled with small criticisms.

Product details

Outboard Hydro Foils increase the power and stability of your outboard / z-drive, while reducing fuel consumption. The foils are simply mounted directly above the outboard. For outboards and Z-drives with an output of 40 hp and more. Dimensions: 430 x 410 mm. The big advantage: Thanks to the supplied mounting kit, the SESport 400 can be clamped to the cavitation plate of the outboard, which means that drilling isn't necessary. The foil can also be drilled if prefered.

I can't rate the product, as I experienced a (serious) engine failure on my first outing after installation.

Not suitable for fast travel!

Putting around at 15 km/h doesn't do any good, but in Croatia at 45 km/h it didn't hold and flew away!

Outboard / Z-Drive Airfoil SESport 400

Fallen off after short use

SESport 400 was attached to our SeaRay 240 with sterndrive. Since I didn't want to drill any holes in the drive, the part was screwed to the drive according to the instructions. Unfortunately, after a short period of use, SESport was lost while driving. Ie the instructions for connecting without damaging the drive are useless in my opinion.
