Poorly designed, useless

Basically, a good idea, but there's a major design flaw: the jammer doesn't hold. At the slightest jolt, the line comes loose. You have to secure the line with a half-hitch, which ultimately makes the support more complicated to use than a simple knot on the lifeline.
