Hose clamps, made of stainless steel W 1.4301. Bandwidth: 12 mm. Adjusting screw with slot and hex head. The clamps can be connected to achieve a larger clamping range.
Is this marine stainless steel - grade 316?
The description on the SVB site says W 1.4301 this is 304 (A2) grade. I see this as fine for pipe fittings below deck and away from any bilges that might contain salt water. I would not however use them on deck where salt water spray might be present. Note that if you are looking for 316 clips be aware as some have 316 bands but the worm-screw and holder may not be 316.
Stainless Steel Hose Clamps. What Clamping range means? Hose diameter? Which one do I need for 3/4" hose for example?
The clamping range is the minimum and maximum permitted outer diameter of the hose when clamped. This will be somewhat less than the unclamped hose diameter once compression has been allowed for. So for example for a hose with 3/4” outer diameter (19mm) you would need either size 2 (that covers 12-22mm) or size 3 (16-25mm). Note that if 3/4” is the inner diameter you will need to know the wall thickness.
