Product details

The Yachticon AC water filter system filters out dissolved contaminants and sediments from your drinking water, due to its combination of cellulose and activated carbon. The filters come supplied complete with AQUA CLEAR activated carbon, gland bushings 3/8" for 13 mm hoses and a wall mounting base. It is recommended to change the filter cartridge at least once a year. Please note that the filter should only be used under pressure. Max. operating pressure: 6.8 bar. Temperature range 0 - 52°C.

Mounting tip:
Before screwing in the hose fittings, we recommend briefly heating them in hot water to increase material flexibility and thus help prevent cracking.

weak point flanges
I'll know how the filter works in three months. But the installation is a disaster, plastic flanges are supplied on both sides.. which break off under slight pressure or tension. Had to buy in hardware store and metal flanges including converter, since no standard thread dimensions are used... thus 20 € more expensive plus taxi costs of 60 € and 4 h time...
