I find the pump is extremely quiet (UP3E), has an amazing capacity for the size, and an expansion tank is actually unnecessary.

With a little optimization great

We've had the pump running for a season now. The functionality is great, as already described by others. However, the noise level can be improved. We have exchanged the supplied vibration dampers for "real" vibration dampers, e.g. item 14515. In this way, the noise level could be significantly reduced again.
What is a bit of a shame is the fact that the pump is only self-priming when the small bleed screw is opened. Otherwise the air does not come out of the hose with us. This is a bit annoying if the pump is difficult to access and is not deep enough in relation to the water tank.
