The GlobalLink 520 from VICTRON allows you to keep track of your installations on your boat - wherever you are. Monitor your Victron devices as well as alarms via the 4G-LTE-M celular technology, for example for bilge pumps, smoke detectors or burglar alarms. The GlobalLink 520 is equipped with a 4G-LTE-M card that automatically connects to a local cellular network. The monitoring system therefore does not require a Wifi connection. After installation, the 4G-M card is valid for five years with no additional costs or monthly fees. At the end of the five years, it can be extended for five more years or any prepaid 4G-M SIM card can be used.

Compatible with the 4G LTE-M network
LTE-M is a short form of LTE Cat-M1 or Long Term Evolution (4G), category M1. This wireless technology is designed to connect Internet of Things (IoT) devices to existing 4G wireless stations at low power consumption. LTE-M supports handover and roaming, so the device can be used in mobile vehicles such as boats and campers. Note: Please note that only 4G LTE-M SIM cards can be operated with the Victron GlobalLink 520. Regular 4G LTE SIM cards are not compatible with the device.

Easy to install
The GlobalLink 520 unit is very easy to install. Two communication ports allow for connecting up to two VE.Direct devices, such as a battery monitor, smart shunt or MPPT solar charge controller directly via a cable. Just plug in and you're done. State of charge, voltage, and battery consumption data is updated every 15 minutes. Two digital inputs act as pulse counters, and a remote controllable relay can be used to monitor other installations on your boat, such as a smoke detector, automatic bilge pump or burglar alarm. VICTRON Remote Management (VRM)
The monitoring module comes with a built-in antenna designed for use around the globe. Depending on where you install the GlobalLink 520 on your boat (or camper), reception may be too weak. In such cases, it is also possible to mount an external antenna easily on the top of the unit.
Signal strength can be checked via Victron Remote Management (VRM). You can access your data via VRM - from anywhere and at any time. Check the status of your connected products, view detailed history graphs, generate detailed analytical reports, and even configure automatic alarms.
