SOTDMA transmission performance
Based on AIS Class B SOTDMA (Self Organized Time Division Multiple Access) technology, the easyTRX3 transmits your AIS signals with high priority like a commercial Class A AIS transmitter. The transmission slots for the next 4 transmissions will be reserved automatically. Even in areas with high traffic, the easyTRX3 is always able to send position reports because SOTDMA has priority over regular AIS Class B units with CSTDMA (Carrier Sense Time Division Multiple Access). Thanks to SOTDMA, the easyTRX-3 can achieve higher transmission rates to improve the visibility of AIS position reports on AIS-enabled systems and screens.

Integrated ME SENSE yacht monitoring
Thanks to the new Bluetooth function, the Weatherdock TRX3-S can now be used as the centrepiece of the ME SENSE yacht monitoring system. All sensor data is captured via Bluetooth and the new TRX3-S forwards it to the marina Wi-Fi network or to the Wi-Fi network of your own LTE router. In this way, the TRX3-S becomes the new connecting bridge between your boat in the marina and you at home using the ME SENSE app. Thanks to Weatherdock ME SENSE, you can always keep an eye on your boat.

WLAN - always connected
The new easyTRX3-S has a WLAN module as standard and can therefore easily forward all NMEA data received to a wirelessly connected end device such as a tablet, smartphone or chart plotter.

Integrated GPS antenna
The integrated GPS antenna increases flexibility when installing the easyTRX3 on board. Only a power supply and FM connection are required. This is particularly practical for boats with GRP or wooden hulls. An external GPS antenna can be connected if required.

Integrated active VHF antenna splitter
The standard built-in VHF splitter allows simultaneous use of VHF radio and AIS with the same antenna. No separate installation required. An amplifier reduces physical losses to a minimum.

High connectivity
The easyTRX3 has a variety of connections as standard. 1x NMEA2000, 1x NMEA0183 port (input & output) and 1x USB port.
