The anchor rocker does what it is supposed to do, but unfortunately the stamped stainless steel parts are very sharp-edged, an anchor is countersunk, I have now removed the grade. It should work now.

I have a few meters of chain lead on my anchor and the rest is anchor line. Due to the relatively sharp sheet metal edges and the design, my anchor line was quite battered by this bow roller when I anchored for the first time.

Inexpensive solution and reasonably stable, for smaller boats Holds the anchor in position even when driving in heavy seas (cannot jump up) - Material susceptible to rust - sharp edges rub the anchor line when swooping - Anchoring in a swooping boat is via the guide practically not possible. As soon as the boat is no longer in line with the anchor line chain, it can no longer be caught over the sharp edges to the left or right. This is extremely annoying, especially when it is a little windy. But that's probably a fundamental design problem, not just this product specifically.

With the price of the bow roller you could expect that the processing is better. The edges of the stamped parts were not deburred u. had to be sanded down otherwise there was a risk of injury.
