Would have been even better if the lid had a small hole. Then you could shake the can each time before pooring up more paint

Pot probably a little old full of pieces does not mix at the bottom of the box. Otherwise the product is excellent I use it for years super slips

The: easy cleaning, no need to sand, dries very quickly, slides very well when it is new. The cons: green algae arrive quickly during the hot season.

Used at the Swedish Westcoast and works perfect for crusing and racing\r\nEasy to work with and dont leave any layer to the next year.

We are now using VC-17m since 6 years. The transition from a conventional antifouling to this one is a heavy process (all antifouling needs to be removed, new epoxy coatings to be applied after which you can apply the VC17m). Once you are on VC17m you only have a very limited number of antifoulings you can still use, so basically you have to stick with it. The product however is very easy to apply: you normally (see further) only have to clean the hull with a detergent, rinse, let it dry and you can start. Moreover the product is as liquid as white spirit. With 2 people a 40ft is done in one hour. By the time you are at the end, you can start your next layer as it dries very quickly.
Once we kept the boat in the water for more than 12 months. That was a disaster as we had to sand the hull completely to remove the rests of barnacles. Since then we get the boat out of the water twice per year to clean it and put 2 new layers, wich is basically a job of half a day.
Finally I allmost forgot the main reason to go for this product: it is soooooo smooth. But you will only benefit from this smoothness if you get the boat out of the water and put a new layer once you see there is some growth.

Best antifouling available

Product is ok \ r \ nOnly the packaging is a disaster. We could not open the decker by turning it or opening it. Ultimately only a sharp knife helped to remove the plastic lid. Promptly the copper bag was damaged. The mixed color was then ok And was easy to process.

It.s a plesure to use this VC17 and to know that you are gong to be out of problem when you take the boat upp at autum.

For years always very good against fouling. Even just a job on the underwater ship is enough per season. Somewhat difficult to process because very fluid. \ R \ n

Even in a while I will not know the result of this antifouling. For the time being as specified in the technical sheet.

Gut, aber teuer

I have 40 years experience with anti-foulings. I used everything. from tin (forbidden to-day) through selfpolishing, hard and teflon with cupper anti-foulings... If you want to sail fast, with the least fouling and easy winter painting: use VC17M with cupper. The Dutch Environmental Gouvernment banned using cupper, but was overrulled bij the EU. (We are however allowed to drink water out out of cupper pipes in the NL).

Work very well, easy to apply, but expensive.
