I've been using these exact rubber shock absorbers for a long time. The first of four broke this year after the 16th season. So, I'm satisfied with the quality and durability. Getting the mooring lines out of the broken shock absorber is difficult. I cut up the rubber parts. I'll replace the other three in the winter. They're brittle and will soon break, too. So, overall, thumbs up.
