Works well but is definitely not quiet!

I tried to use the pump for 2 taps, pantry and stern shower. The suction function is insufficient. Water only came to the stern shower when it was sucked in with the mouth on the shower head. This may be the case at the beginning of the season, but occurred again 10 minutes after switching off and switching on again. The output in the amount of funding does not correspond to the information. Installation instructions only in English. Good luck!

I bought this pump for the freshwater supply on board, because it as a gear pump promised a quiet run and because it should also be designed for 24 V operation. It replaced a 25 year old very loud fresh water pump. After installation of the pump I have three days at the quiet running and the efficiency of this pump pleased. Then the batteries had to be charged. Since the boat lay on a buoy, this happened with a Honda Benzingenerator. Chargers for mobile phones and cameras always surpassed this procedure without problems. Only the Marco pump went then no more. Too bad. I sent her about a month ago back to SVB but until now nothing has been heard. This pump is in my opinion not suitable for the 24V operation.

Easy installation. The pump must be ventilated at the first use via the easily accessible bleed screw so that it sucks. Slightly pulsating water jet, although it is described in the description that it can be operated without pressure equalization tank. Therefore no 5 stars. Schol. SVB: A lightly pulsating water jet can be at a short cable length. If the water line (pressure side) from the pump to the water tap is made very short or possibly in a pipe, the electronic pressure switch and the software must react to the smallest pressure fluctuations and feed immediately. In this case, a pulsating water outlet can occur when the tap is only slightly open.

Works beautifully quiet with sufficient pressure. Unfortunately NOT self-priming, must be vented after aspiration of air. LED light organ confusing. Several times the smallest particles between the gears made the pump immediately lame. Fine filters are extremely important. After four years of waterfall in engine and broken. Not suitable for hard application.

I have been type UP3 / E for 16 months. The pumping power goes. The pump is a bit noisy. The start-up delay a little getting used to. After 16 months of simmering leaky engine bearings solidified.

It freezes and stops working. You have to cut the power and reconnect it for it to work again.

-I ordered 2 pumps and both were defective. Same defect. I reported the defects immediately and sent both pumps back. One pump was replaced, the second has been held for months on the grounds that I had to make a video of the pump. That is ridiculous and extremely bad service.

For my purpose, the pump is unusable since you are not able to draw water from the approx. 1.50m hose length and 30cm below the tank. Also the opening of the ventilation screws has nothing to do with it. The pump only sucks air up to automatic shutdown. The pump is very compact compared to old (possibly the lack of performance). I used the old pump again. The nominal pump performance was the same. Have unfortunately missed the fault.

Unpacked, connected, defective. Both the enclosed fuses were already burned. Clear case of poor quality control. Own backups did not help either. Pump returns to Retour.

I have problems with the UP3 / E. Already get replaced 4 to 5 times on warranty. SVB takes good care of the warranty processing. Horst Müller
