Works after starting difficulties

The boiler was bought to replace a 25 year old ISOTEMP. Since all the connections were there, the replacement was done quickly. Annoying only the supplied "safety and non-return valve". Unfortunately, there is such a great resistance in the direction of flow that my water pump does not even turn on after turning on the hot water tap. After removing and directly connecting the inlet to the boiler, everything works. I'm looking for a decent solution with a pressure relief valve and an adequately sized drain hose. With the connection cable for the heating cartridge (strand), the wires are simply twisted together in the screw terminals. Wire sleeves are common here, which I have added. The sheet metal feet are very wobbly, but serve their purpose. So all in all a cheap device that works, but has flaws in the details.
