super small and super bright

Not the cheapest lantern on the market, but certainly the best. Bright, low power consumption and uniformly good radiation characteristics with sharp separation of the sectors. In addition very stably built. This winter I had demolished the (self-made) base at 60 knots of wind force and corresponding lake, and the lantern was thundering for two days hanging on the cable against the top of the mast until I could fix it again in the next port. The paint is a bit off, but the case is intact and it still works flawlessly.

The lantern produce slight interference of radio reception. Can not be mounted close to antenna. Since the best place to mount VHF antenna at small sailing yacht is at the top of the mast, the designer of the lantern surely had no idea about the use of it. But if you do not need to listen by your radio, buy it.
