1. The groove for the O-ring is not deep enough 2. The diameter of the O-ring is too small. Due to 1 2, the O-ring CANNOT be inserted into the groove 3. The O-ring should seal against the cover . However, the lid has 4 sharp edges which will press into the O-ring and damage it. The O-ring seal design is really amazing. Now I have paid for the filter, replacement O-ring, replacement cover, for everything shipping and customs to Thailand, have packed the tool from the ksite and want to install the part and now I notice this faulty construction ...
