Expiration date indicated incorrect

I bought two cartridges in January, and both had July as their expiration date. I tried using the first cartridge at the end of April, and both components were completely coagulated. The cartridge was unusable. I wanted to use the second cartridge in May, and the same thing happened as with the first; I couldn't extract the components from the cartridge with the press, despite applying a lot of force.
I literally threw away twice the price. However good West System resin is, this adhesive is of terrible quality, and even if it worked, it's far too expensive.
