The wooden doors of a 40-year-old Dutch steel displacement vessel needed to be treated. The doors had already been painted several times and most recently sanded and treated with teak oil. These treatments always only lasted a short time – teak oil lasted two weeks. I thought Owatrol 1 would improve things – too bad – my expectations were too high. I wasn't satisfied. Unfortunately, the finish was a real mess.
