Nice design and good function. Cooking flames but very large in diameter - too big for small Expresso cans. The grid on which the pots stand is quite weak. It lacks a support in the middle. I made a wine cork fit, that's how it works.

Solution for problem with ignition fuse

Hello, also our Seafarer 2 came with problems. With the larger burner, the flame always went out after releasing the knob (problem was already mentioned here). The solution is banal (but embarrassing for Techimpex) The plastic knob is too high, depressing pushes the button to the mother of the regulator, thus the Zuendsicherung not enough pressed down and simply not heated. Remove the button, insert a small nut or similar into the receptacle. Insert and replace. Worked perfectly afterwards.

Welding joints for mounting brackets are visible on outside surface - 3 'rusty' spots on every corner.

Works fine and I really like the design.
Craftsmanship is poor - welding joints for mounting brackets are visible on outside surface - three very distinct 'rusty' spots on every corner. If they can't avoid this in production, they should provide a taller rubber seal, which would then cover it when mounted.

Cooker works only unreliable, flame fails, temperature sensor constantly defective, with several acquired Geräte.Schlecher return service of SVB, Kocher sent in, received over 3 months no feedback, no replacement device, no confirmation of receipt. Absolutely not recommendable.
