Very soft rope - almost too soft actually - but that is likely a matter of getting used to it.. \r\nThe rope is also quite heavy - but that is maybe ok.\r\nHowever - it does the job excellent - it is flexible I can feel the much softer pull in the boat when sleeping, and the noise made from my old standard rope is not missed - this is a ninja rope for sure..\r\n
The sheath and core shift and thus form a bulge at the end of the line. This is a problem when pulling out of a panty attachment. The line quickly forms kinks and the coat quickly pulls threads. In terms of quality, there is no comparison to a Liros leash, I would not buy it again.
If it is wet (which is quite common on a boat) this string does not hold on an aluminum cleat. The classic method (half a dead turn, half a half and a half key) is totally inoperative. Once the rope is attached, simply pull the end and you will see it slide to the end. I had not had this problem so far with a dry rope and cleat. But a mooring being dropped, I found that once wet, the outfit is almost zero. Result, ten moorings (and ten splices) to redo! Very very disappointing.
