I was stunned when I saw the price of a VHF waterproof and floating at this price, having in mind the price of VHF a few years ago! This VHF shows a good autonomy, it is simple, light. The sound is good. In short, perfect, except its banal aesthetics and its color a little discreet (black) when looking for night! Not having enough perspective, I do not know if it is really waterproof in time! ... and I have never thrown into the water to check that it floats well ;-)

it's a shame, this little VHF seemed very practical! unfortunately after 4 months I started to have small problems the squelsh became impossible to regulate ... The VHF "spat" therefore constantly when it was on ... then 8 months after the purchase, I found a black spot on the screen ... yet no shock, no trace on the case. It does not light up at all ... I advise you to go for ICOM products which are much more solid!
