First of all, I think it's really very effective. Although we only had about 8-12 degrees Celsius, it at least dried to the touch quickly. Unfortunately, despite waiting four hours, everything underneath the paint slid off the next day; so it didn't dry completely. With a dash of the recommended thinner, it comes off the roll easily.

We'll see if the antifouling works in the fall. But overall, I'm optimistic.

It is not the same reference as the one Hempel sells in Spain

We have been using this antifouling for 1 month and it is too early to be able to assess its effectiveness. The color, so far, is as expected. However, it does not have the same reference as the one Hempel sells in Spain. In Germany the reference is 7183A and the one sold here, in the same gray color, is 71880. The packaging is apparently the same. Within 1 year I will know if I was right or wrong buying it there.

HEMPEL Mille NCT has had a satisfactory effect on our hull (sailor, GRP, 1.85m TG) in our Lübeck Bay Fehmarn South Funen area, and we refresh it once a year, although this does not always seem necessary. In autumn there are usually very few barnacles and only a slimy algae coating that is easy to wash off.
