The light of this replacement LED bulb is warm yet bright - i.e. quite pleasant for interior use in a boat. At the same time I ordered another bulb for comparison, namely product Nr. 12609. It was disappointingly cold in color and much dimmer than this one.

Product is ok. However, it is offered as BA15D. The lateral fixing pins that hold the pear in the holder are at the same height. In the position indicators, however, they must be attached in different heights. So they don't fit into the normal Aqua Signal lanterns.

Sie haben Recht! Die korrekte Sockelbezeichnung ist der Schlüssel zum Erfolg.
Die üblichen BSH-zugelassenen Glühfaden-Leuchtmittel sind mit einem BAY15D-Sockel versehen:
Ba = Bajonettverschluss, Y = seitlich höhenversetzte Fixierpins, 15 = 15 mm Sockeldurchmesser und D = doppelte Fußkontakte. Der Metallsockel selbst ist isoliert (potentialfrei).
Unser Tipp: wenn Sie ein BA15D-Leuchtmittel in einer BAY-Fassung nutzen wollen, können Sie einen Fixierpin entfernen.
Einige (meist billige) BA15D-LED-Leuchtmittel haben eine vorgegebene Anschlusspolarität. Bevor Sie hier den richtigen Pin zu entfernen, sollten Sie die Polarität von Fassung und Leuchtmittel testen (d. h. welcher Kontakt in der Fassung ist PLUS, welcher ist MINUS, welcher Kontakt des Leuchtmittels ist PLUS bzw. MINUS?)
