The railing foot in itself is excellent - inside diameter exactly 25mm. However, the outside diameter of the gate support is exactly 25mm. That means there is no air to plug together! My solution Buy an adjustable reamer for around 25 euros and rub out the railing foot to 25.3mm. Now it fits together ...
