These buoys are very durable. I set my 1st buoy of this type 12 years ago and it is still in service today. As a precaution, I exchanged the handrail that you were able to deliver to me. Of course the red color has faded a bit, which I think is normal because of the many years. The new buoy that you recently delivered to me is identical to the old one, which I am delighted with. I plan to use this as a safety buoy.

Hi! After many years of loyal service, yesterday I checked the chains on which my ship hangs. I can't remember three mooring buoys, two of which are billich brand from Ebay, and a luxury buoy from Polyform, either bought here or from Toplicht. All three have now proven themselves to be outstanding for - estimated - 7 years. They stayed in the water even in winter and temporarily frozen in. The metal parts of the polyform buoy are the most massive and most carefully processed. No corrosion whatsoever on any of the three buoys. All three buoys have left a little air, one wonders whether they should be re-inflated or whether the valve is no longer completely tight afterwards. When cleaning the buoys that were initially overgrown (all equally overgrown, water: Schlei near Schleswig), it was noticed that the Polyform buoy, of all things, did not tolerate the high-pressure cleaner, but that it actually ate its way into the plastic (PVC?). Unfortunately, a new balloon is due soon. My conclusion: Good quality but quite expensive, the balloon material obviously needs improvement
