Super simple solution

This masthead indicator is perfect for our small boat. The top masthead indicator fell off during the season, so we switched to this alternative. We're so pleased with it that we won't be using a top masthead indicator anymore.

Expensive but good

I installed one on both sides of the shrouds and I'm thrilled. I always have a jib in sight without having to twist my head. The price for that little bit of wire and plastic is quite high.

After 5 weeks of sailing, the black plastic caps on both sides have worn off; there might be a better solution. Now the rather sharp wire ends are exposed.
