Da die Verbindung zwischen Ruderwelle und Ruderpinne über eine Klemmung erfolgt muss der Inndendurchmesser im nicht montiertem Zustand klein sein. Bei der Montage muss daher der Spalt bei den beiden Klemmschrauben in manchen Fällen etwas auseinander gedrückt werden.
