Easy to cut, but it stretches a bit, so difficult to cut to a precise shape. Does not fall apart at the cut edge. The material is very flexible and well suited to sewing together multiple pieces. When coming from the roll, one side is a bit squashed and uneven. When sitting or kneeling on it, it gets compressed but does bounce back into shape when the load is removed. Works very well for adding ventilation behind and under mattresses and cushions. Make sure you have an open edge so air can circulate.
