I was hoping for detailed weather data, but didn't receive it. Information about navigation-relevant events, e.g., active firing ranges, is good.

I wonder about the general effectiveness of the organization that gives the rare information to this receiver. For the time being almost useless, especially decorative, it is serious!

I ordered a NAVTEX receiver on December 3rd, 2023, which was delivered on December 5th, 2023. So far very good.
After checking the device, I found that the device was not OK according to my assessment and sent it back on December 11th, 2023. I was offered a credit and the device was sent to the manufacturer for testing.
According to the manufacturer's assessment, the device was ok. After consultation with SVB, there was email correspondence in which detailed technical issues were discussed. I discovered that the receiver sensitivity and the filter curve at the input had not been checked by the manufacturer. Even the internal test system “frequency analysis” was not carried out. According to the manufacturer, the device has been back at SVB for a long time.
Therefore, I can neither recommend the device nor any other device from this manufacturer.
To date (02/01/24) I have not received the device, my money or a credit, which is very unusual for SVB.
The star was only given because this rating portal requires at least one star in order to be sent. In fact, this purchase isn't even worth one star.

The delivered Navtex was without function. No messages were received. Sent to the manufacturer for repair via SVB and after 3! received again months. Still mistakes myself. An unreliable and unusable device.
