I bought this base with column to replace the existing column, which wasn't the right diameter for a new table I was given.
I must say that comparing the quality of the materials with those of the old column, I found them lighter and less finished.
I would have preferred to pay a little more for better materials.
However, with a small modification I made, the piece serves its purpose, and the price is very reasonable.
