My use of this product might surprise you, but it's just what I was looking for.

I've been looking for this product for a while, so I was really happy to find Star Brite liquid electrical tape in stock at SVB. The ordering process was easy and it arrived in good time and nicely packaged.

The product is really thick and smells dreadful (always use in a well ventilated space) but it's nice and thick and a thin layer (very thin) I'm spreading it over the nearly 100-year-old bellows of my 1920s Kodak 1A Autographic Jr folding camera to fill the numerous tiny holes in the canvas. This is a work in progress and it'll probably take me several more weeks to really know if it has worked properly. In the meantime, though I'm delighted with this product.

A great invention

We used the product for example. At the boat trailer (for slipping) the old lights were replaced with watertight lights which no longer have to be dismantled, the cables were soldered and insulated with this liquid insulation ... Since 100% function, no more oxidation.

I have been using Liquid electrical tape for years and I am very satisfied. Applying with a brush attached to the lid requires some practice (at least if it is to run off spill-free), but then you have good, sealing insulation.
