This is a strong, well engineered piece of equipment. Replaced a rather fragile plastic socket that came with the boat. Same hole spacing so no need for filling and drilling.

Unfortunately, in the case of the country connection box MEMA / stainless steel, there is no indication in both the internet and the catalog offer that this can only be used in the USA. The plug contacts have an unusual shape in the EU. So are now 99.90 € useless in Schapp. Unfortunately! Note from the SVB team: NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association) is the representative of North America's electrical engineering industry. Under their control, there are a number of standards related to electrical engineering, so NEMA always refers to US standards. We have now added this notice in the article name.
