A good product in itself, but with small pitfalls

The outer hood has a low height, so that the pliz fan underneath can only be opened a few mm. But little air is better than no air at all. Have doubts whether the fan is really tight, for this the axis of the mushroom fan would have to be 100% at right angles, which cannot be ensured. The thread on my fan was also slightly damaged at the factory. I had to rework with a m 8 screw thread cutter so that the inner hood could be screwed down to the coaming. How lucky my grandfather had something in his toolbox!

Very Limited Airflow Not Effective

The opening space is very limited. Even when fully opened, the gap is so small that hardly any air flows through.

Delivery to French Polynesia was much faster than expectedabout 6 weeks instead of the stated 3 months, even with Christmas in between. Very happy with the service, but not with the product.

Hello everyone!
I've ordered a lot of great parts from here. But I'm having a real problem with this fan!
The installation is pretty easy: just seal it. Put the body with the fly screen in, secure it, and you're done. The lid is the problem! If you then attach it over the top, you won't be able to open the fan again - you first have to loosen the screws on the lid and THEN you can open the fan again. That's assuming the star knob at the bottom doesn't come off.

I'll write to the SVB team about what we're doing next.
I definitely recommend NOT buying it!
