Stainless steel caps were already installed on the boat, therefore the ones with plastic caps were bought in order to be able to replace the inner workings destroyed by the UV radiation. There are only 2 stars for the quality, because although it fits perfectly, the material itself does not withstand the weather (less than 10 years). It is nice that the caps come complete with screws and the replacement of the inner workings is relatively quick. The relatively low price for the deck fan with plastic caps and the fact that the interior is 100% compatible with those with stainless steel caps results in 4 stars in the product rating.
