Durability of the plastic cover plate

The plastic cover plate with the hose connection is not at all suitable for use on board (sun, rain).
After two seasons on an inland lake in the Elbe-Weser triangle, the cover plate completely crumbled into smaller and larger parts. As a result, the shapely cover hood no longer closes rainproof with the boat body.
Not recommendable !
